Summer War

A flash for the UK's National Flash Fiction Day 2026

I'm so excited to share that The Write-In has published my flash, 'Summer War' as part of the UK's National Flash Fiction Day on 13 June 2026.

I was inspired by the 'Single Crossing' prompt: "Write a flash using no word more than once, and yes, this includes small words like the, and, I, and is." The piece also had to be between 75 and 300 words long.
